Hey Guys,

We are back.

What a trip. Things we will never forget.

I am sure I will write more Monday and Tuesday. Then on Tab's Wordless Wednesday, I will upload a few more photos.

Just to list a few... Tiger's game, Hershey Chocolate Factor, 4th July picnic, family reunion, Frankenmuth, Jonathan's breakfast, Hot air balloon watching, water slide, talent show, Loud's Ice Cream in Jackson, Baltimore, Daytona, 3 days of conferences, Canton Library, camp fires (actually one that continued burning for 4 days), Dad's ER trip, American Girl Doll store, Church Camp, Bundon Tuesday Night picnic, Dillehay Family Reunion, Capture the flag (where Sarah and I got hurt) and much much more.

There are lots of stories to tell, but lots of emails I should get to.

Cosmic Catch

Hey Team,

This is a new game that we have. You each get a hand band of a different color. The ball has a brain in it. There are four different games you can play. One is hot potatoe (Emily won this tonight). The other one is where you have to pass it to the color the brain says. You get 3 to 4 seconds to do that. Even Ty played:)

Have you ever watched the movie "Martian Child"? Ty looks like the actor boy did at the pool with his head cover on:) He did take it down after lunch.

New Job

Hey Readers,

I wanted to let you know I got the new job:)

I do not have any photos as of yet, but will soon.

I have a hard time picking the photo I want to send? You can vote if you want.

[photo 1] The cake Tab and the kids got me. Ty thought it was our wedding and creamed my face with frosting he grab off the cake. Don't worry, when I took the kids to the local library the next hour and they asked if I would answer a few questions for the 6 O'Clock ABC news "Summer Read Program", I remembered I had it on my face and said no.

[photo 2] Me on the phone discussing one of the many projects I will be doing. no photo needed, just image the way dad would pace back and forth through the common walking paths in the house (multiple by it by 3 times the speed).

[photo 3] A photo of the new, slimmer, more high powered computer I will be getting to do more memory work. Yeh, that photo will not be happening, since that PC will not be happening either :(

[photo 4] A building just 5 miles from SeaWorld, Universal, Disney, Water Mania, and all the Orlando dinner shows. I will be traveling to the VLC about twice a month to work on projects. If you are mistaken, they do not say "Orlando...The happy place on earth". They do say Disney.

[Photo 5] Me in a tie. It happened before, don't laugh.

The girls think we should get SeaWorld passes this year, since we'll be going to Orlando more often:)

Thanks for all your support and prayers on the new job:0 Mark

Car-Box-Blokus

Hey Gang,

I had the second rounds of interviews for the position I was thinking about with FLVS. I should hear from Jill Monday or Tuesday. I think I would be happy either way.

My computer took a hit last weekend, so I sent it up to Orlando Tuesday night. I still have not gotten it back. I am using the old silver laptop. Tabitha has loads of the photos on here, so we need to copy them to an external or CD's and get this thing hoppin. Ok, I also have 600 songs on it for my ipod, and a good serious from T.D.Jake if you want to Amen it.

So, I took Katie to Walmart this morning. This is a tradition I have had with each of my 4 children. It allows Tab to sleep in. We look through the greeting cards. Do you know how much time you can spend reading the cards. And I don't read that slow :)

We got a two-man (but it is for Emily and Sarah) blow up boat for the beach. I also got the blow up car unit. When we were there Thursday two other girls had one. They only had one adult with them, and I think they drifted out too far, but I am going to be there with them for this.

I got Ty a car. They have two of them at the "Pump it Up" in Fort Myers. Ty loves them. This one is for inside the house right now, but I assume it will make its way outdoors. At that point, it becomes an outside toy.

We got Rain today! We needed it soo bad. It did change our plans however. We were going to weed, re-mulch, and plant tonight. We will put it on another day.

Earlier this morning, Tabitha took the two older girls to a wedding. Our assistant Pastor's daughter. They were telling me all about it. I took the two little kids to North Fort Myers. I was at the doorstep of the Lee Civic Center. There was a local graduation, but I did not get the best chance to go in. Ty was missing a nap, and it was too hot for me to stroller it around outside until I knew it would be safe to go inside. I got the Senior boy a card in Spanish. No I don't speak Spanish, No he does not speak Spanish. I just thought that would be funnier than any of the cards they had created for the Graduates. LOL

So you know how they say buy a box. The kids play with the box more than the toy that came in it. It is true. This is Katie. She is still army crawling, not normal crawls. She pulls herself up lots, and stands if you hold one of her hands. I think she will just go right to cruising and walking.

Speaking of blocks. This new game Sarah is playing is great. We four play each night that we put the two little ones down. Emily won last night :(

Love talking to you all. Give me a call when you can.

Roller Coaster Boy

Hey Gang,

Here is the photo of Ty on the roller coaster. The first time he loved it and laughed. The second time with Tab he did not want to get off. He pulled the bar back down when the ride was over. The third time with me, Ty kept his hands up for much of the ride. I am sure that soon he will ride the monster coasters I am too old for. T.Mark

Five Smiles

Tab, I will take you up on your challange. Every man will smile when he has a large screen T.V. (ask William as of last week), but the photo is here to show you the 32 mini replica NFL helments around the Kitchen shelf. I love the sacrifices my wife made to allow me my geeky decoration. It comes down in May:) Once you remove my teacher folder, you will find my second reason to smile -SLEEP. Here you can see Psalms 34:1-11. (12-22 are on the living room wall) I loved it that Tabitha wrote these out and all four of us memorized this passage of scripture. My heart smiles knowing we focused on his Word. It is not so much the wall of fame that makes me smile, but what it tells me about Tabitha and my folks. Tabitha loves our children and wants to share their beauty with others. My parents came down for 8 days. I kid you not, my father work the entire time 7am to midnight converting our old living room in to two bedrooms for Emily and Katie. My Parents will do anything for my kids:) Photo Not Missing ! That is right, YOU do not see the last thing that makes me smile! But if YOU come to my house, for a dinner or a weekend, YOU will see me smile. Mark

Happy Mother's Day

Mom, Thanks for all you do. Thanks for all you have done. We will bring the coffee cup, but not the plant. It says "I love You". Emily did that half and Sarah did the other half. Emily did the inside too, but you can not see that. Love Mark

Cedar Point - Ready

Great, Great! Things look great for Cedar point. The reduced price for getting a group rate, has passed us by, so everyone is on their own for picking up tickets for their family. I confirmed with Kari that her family will arrive at Mammaw’s Thursday May 15th evening to sack out on the floor. I will have blankets laid out and ready for sleeping. Kristy, if you family is joining us that night, please call me (239)834-4452. We have plenty of room. Friday morning we will be eating breakfast (full farmer’s hand special) at 6:30am. This will allow us to leave Canton Michigan at 7:15am. When you add in the time Yahoo calculates, and the soda stop, gas stop, diaper stop that we traditionally make, it puts us at the gate at 9:45am. I have my own directions, and you are welcome to follow me. I go at my own speed, so you might want to get your own directions or use your own GPS. Since we have a pleothra of desires and ride interests in the park maybe we should plan on meeting together for lunch. Emily wants to get a Cedar Point shirt, so we will be doing some stopping by the gift shops. The Fudge and Needle ride is a must for us 6. We will plan to do that just before dusk. When you mention the big ferris wheel, Tabitha explains her plan on staying on the ground with Katie and Ty. Honestly I am asking for one brave soul to go with me and my two girls. I am a little afraid as well. Dad, thank you for the arrangements for the motel. Oh, Yeah. Bring a Camera. "God, I pray for Travis. Guide him to yourself. I pray for his safety each day at school and home." Mark

Free Stuff

I have been checking Craig’s list each morning. Today I found something. I told the girls it might be great, it might be nothing. To make a short story long, here goes….. The internet post said, manicans, shelf, and other items. We went to the bridal shop near Pizza Hut. For those of you out of town, remember America’s most wanted and the story about the two girls held at knife point to get in a black SUV and leave there baby, then found out they were all illegal aliens? Right next to that store. The window said 10am-5pm, but was locked. I told the girls it could be nothing or something? They opened a little after ten. We went in. Ty , Emily , Sarah, and I went in. This lady did not know exactly what her boss was wanting to give away. It is a bridal store moving to Cape Coral, so …… She handed Emily a pair of earrings, then Sarah, Then she went to the children’s maid of honors dresses. Did I tell you that the girls just got done watching “America’s Prom Queen”? So we left with a pair of shoes, 3 dresses, bracelet, purse, vail, and the two earring sets. She has my number and has told me to come back tonight. I have their number too, so might call them near 3pm. Anyway, Mammaw, we might have some dresses that are too big. Could you do any sewing for us? ”Dear God, I come to you today asking for your safety while Keela and William return from PRico. Jesus, you said that you would send the comforter, I ask that you guide this spirit to William today. Having your father’s heath questioned is nothing taken lightly, and I pray that you would fill his mind and heart with peace.” Mark

King's Kids

Good Morning! Emily worked for some time on one of her King'sKids projects. I wanted to show it to you. This is the size of an entire poster board. It is many small rips of paper glued in the pattern. They will be competing Saturday May 3rd. I have not done much posting lately, so this prayer is from the dedication. Chloe "I pray that God will save your life at a very young age. That he will keep you from dangers and evil. I pray that you can influence your family and friends toward God." Mark

The Muffin Man

Hey Ya’ll, I know you all have seen the miraculous images of Mother Mary. Wait until you see this photo. Sarah noticed the revelation of someone you all know. Do you know the Muffin Man? We thought he lived down the lane, but he was here for breakfast Monday morning. Wow his eyes are really Blue. Katie is getting a nick name of “skinny”. We have her eating anything in sight. So, yes! our floors are getting cleaner, but she is still , as I affectionately call her, “Light Weight ”. Pray that she would gain a few. Tab will have more data in her blog for you. 10SCTimothy “Dear God, I pray you make this Timothy like those that have come before him. Timothy in the Bible, learning of You at his mother’s feet. My Hero John Harper

I feel bad copying this as a blog, but wanted to let you know about my hero. Often during the day, the Holy Spirit will lead me to give a tract to someone. When The devil urges me to ignore this instruction, I often think of my Hero. Where was God when Titanic went down? For some aboard the sinking ship, He was nowhere to be found. He was there for many others, providing a spiritual lifeboat throughout the ordeal. And for others still, He appeared in the form of a servant sent to lead them to Jesus and life everlasting. God's servant aboard Titanic was second class passenger Reverend John Harper, a Baptist minister born May 29, 1872, to a solid Christian family in Houston Renfrewshire, Scotland. As his young life unfolded, he was consumed by the word of God, and, by age 17, he was preaching the gospel on the streets of his village. A few years later, his calling led him to London, England, where his giant passion for the salvation of others became the defining mission of his ministry. Empowered with courage and compassion, he started his own church in September of 1896-now known as the Harper Memorial Baptist Church in Glasgow. His congregation grew dramatically over the next 13 years. He married during this time but was widowed shortly after God blessed their union with a beautiful baby girl. Her name was Annie Jessie Harper but Reverend Harper called her "Nina." She was six years old when she boarded Titanic in Southampton with her father and his sister-in-law, Miss Jessie Wills Leitch. They were on their way to Chicago where Harper was scheduled to conduct a series of revival meetings. On the evening of April 14, 1912, Reverend Harper was on deck admiring the sunset. "It will be beautiful in the morning," he remarked as the RMS Titanic sailed swiftly through the bitterly cold Atlantic. At 11:40 p.m., the promise of a beautiful morning was dashed when an iceberg scraped the ship's starboard side, ripping open six watertight compartments. According to reports, John Harper rushed his daughter to lifeboat 11, kissed her goodbye and handed her over to Aunt Jessie, promising they would see him again someday. Flares that lit the dark sky were reflected in the tears on his face as he backed away into a crowd of desperate souls. Only minutes later, Titanic literally broke in half, plunging 1,498 people into the dark, frigid waters. John Harper was one of them. Survivors later recalled seeing the reverend swimming through the 28- degree water, trying to lead the doomed to Christ. One young man testified a stranger swam up to him and asked, "Are you saved?" When "No" was his reply, the stranger tossed him his life jacket and said, "Here then; you need this more than I do," and swam away to others. Because of the intense cold, he had grown too weak to swim. His last words before slipping under: "Believe in the Name of the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." Following the disaster, a nameless survivor wrote about the stranger who urged him to call out to Jesus for his soul's safety: "Then and there, with two miles of water beneath me, in my desperation I cried to Christ to save me." Of the 1,498 people who went into the water that night, only six were rescued. One of them was this young man. The survivor later claimed the stranger, who prayed for the eternal welfare of others, was the Reverend John Harper, Titanic's Angel of Mercy. "God, I pray that you would make each of us a stronger soul winner. I pray for unsaved souls. I pray that you would direct their path across ours today. Dear God, I pray that we might place the rush of our life to the side as we focus in on divine appointments you have created throughout the day. I pray that none of us will miss our chance to say a word about Jesus." TMarkD

Cedar Point May 16th

Tab has found a way to make tickets $34 for 5 and older, then $14 for seniors and the little ones. Puggles "I pray for your growth and safety today. God will you teach Puggles truth in Sunday School today. Make church fun and real in this young child's life." TMarkD

H2O Catch (not Ketch)

This is something we did the other day. Ty loves baths. He took a bath with his cousin Login the other week, and it was really fun I guess. Katie put her face down in the two inch bath for a second, and did not like it. We don't think they will take too many baths together b/c Ty often stands up full, then drops to his butt or side. He has hit hard against the drain, and it leaves marks. Only Ty. So I was dropping him water in this last bath time. He was so happy about it, he could not even catch the water. It even made him pee. About the photo: I could not get the demon red eyes out of him? Yes that is a pen in my pocket. A working man, not a geek. Kari, " I love you sis. I am praying you are trusting each moment in his arms. You have always been an example of faithfulness to me, and I pray others will glean from your testimony you shine." TMarkD

Mouse Trap

Do you remember that 70’s board game “Mouse Trap” ? (goes with photo) Hey Family, I have to let you in on a little secret. I don’t know if it is the conversations I have had this Monday-Thursday or what, but “FAMILY”. Remember the part in the movie “City Slickers” where the wise old cowboy says life is all about one thing, that thing…. And he leaves you not knowing what that one thing is. Well it is Christ, but for the purpose of my Blog today, It is all about FAMILY. I am not limiting this to the six members who sleep in this house. My sisters and their families, Tab’s sisters and their families, and the families in which our parents grew up in. This is FAMILY. Who do I know and relate with this month that I knew ten years ago? Zip. Five years ago? Very few. Yes, we do get gifts from God of new friends now and again. Unfortunately they often move on within the next set of five years. How about you? Who have you been around within the last three months (since the start of 2008) that you were partying with in 1997? See, All family. Blood is thicker than water. I know , I know…. What am I getting at? Vague, but this public journal is just a way for me to vent it out. Unless you imagine me reclined on your black leather sofa and are charging me $250 an hour (sorry – half hour session today) to read my thoughts. And if you are so inclined – analyze me! Let me know what you find. Jonathan ” I am praying that God will continue to teach you his ways. That God would fuel the fire of want for him. That you can be overtaken with making him first in your life. That the men in your family will be examples that point you to Christ.” TMarkD

My $400 Volcano

Hey, no photo with this one. For those of you who read my wife’s blogs, I have her song on below “Miss This”. It is the last one on the list, so you have to scroll down on the song list to even see it. School is kicking in. We are finishing many students each day. We are looking forward to a staff conference in Daytona the last two days of April. I can honestly say God has given these jobs and it works great for our home and personalities. I am interviewing with my superiors to be a Math Specialist and continue building new courses and curriculum throughout the year. I would still have a half load of students. The first Saturday in May will be the King’s Kid’s Jamboree. This is Emily and Sarah’s Wednesday night youth program. They have scripture learned; missionaries memorized, and are ready to play. They have a few items that are due before the event, but are judged that day. A patriotic poster is one of these items. The other is a tract. They can go in any direction they would like. It must be student made (no $400 volcano). Tabitha and I had a great idea for a tract cut and colored like a PB&J sandwich. It would be housed in a sandwich zip lock baggy. I had it down to P=profess you are a sinner B=believe Jesus dies for you on Calvary and is the only way to Heaven and a right relationship with God the father, and J=Just do it, confess with your heart and voice a sinner’s prayer. I would have won soo easily. But she picked to do a brochure on Heaven. Both the girls love to collect brochures and coupons from the hotel lobby or McDonalds travel books. So she wants to create one that explains Heaven and how to get there. I am sure I will take photos of it and get it on the internet soon. My Family

Hey Y’all, This is my family minus me. Tabitha (One of a kind and Mine) Emily (orderly, smart, spiritually minded) Sarah (bubbly, great imagination, heart for people) TimmyYale (TY – wild, boy) Katie (our baby, bright eyed ready for life) I will try to catch a video of TY spelling his name. Yale, no more babysitting. You must have bribed him with ice cream. He is spelling it Y.T. I correct him, but still the Yale is being put first. How did you brainwash him? ”God, watch over puggles. We Grow our Own

Mammaw wanted to come over before she returned to Michigan and transplant some plants the girls had planted at her trailer last month. They are green and will give fruit or vegetables. I did not listen to what kind they are. But she said water them once a day. I did Tuesday, Wednesday, and Today. She also planted a hand full of tomato seeds and the two pits from her half eaten peach on the drive over. Now I will need someone to show me how to can when it is harvest time. Our evangelist said something about tree by living water, so here goes... Will-i-am "May God gift you with roots deep in the scriptures. I pray your strength to stand strong for Christ will out do a mighty Oak. I pray for you my newest Brother." Some plant, some water, and some rock at Guitar Hero. Then there is me. No I will not video myself for you to boo me off too. TMarkD

Katie Kinz

Katie Kinz Got Cash from talent show. Yep, That is what we call her. Katie Bha-ghattie was not fair. We call Sarah Bhgara, so it is too close. Plus we both slip and call her Sarah often. Sarah was the last baby girl we held. Thanks for posting a comment that let me know I can share family photos and stories. I thought it was just to debate Politics, Weather, and Religion. Katie was the only one who read my third blog Easter morning to find out the true Christian celebrate Easter Morning by wearing green. I thought we looked good in this photo together. When I first knew we were getting a new kid on the block, I asked God - any day but Sept 11th. I just did not want the comments that come with it. But God has shown me that this kid is not going to fit any of my pre-conceived notions. I think you can see a sparkle in my eye. It is Katie! Many think it is the great work of the photographer that has caught "catch lights". If the term is new to you, ask Tabitha about it. I listen often to elements (not Adobe) about photography that I know nothing about. Maybe she is getting back at me for giving her personal Sports center Sunday NFL highlights for the past 15 years. Low-low-low-low (just picture Ellen dancing) "Jesus give the kid a good immune system to fight off that which his sister keeps getting. Protect his childhood. Save his soul at a early age, that he may be an example to his younger siblings." TMarkD.

Romans 14:Live

O.K. Are you ready for some “Bible Study”. I want my life to be Marked with Christ. My Blog title conveys this much. So I was ready to post that “NO” I do not have a tattoo (MARKING), but if I were to get one, what do you think of this one? Don’t worry I would not be able to take the pain. It would sound like this “Friends” episode -PHOEBE: Wanna see mine, wanna see mine? MONICA: Yes. RACHEL: What? You didn't get one. PHOEBE: OK, well then what is this? [shows her bare shoulder] RICHARD: What're we looking at? That blue freckle? PHOEBE: OK, that's my tattoo. RACHEL: That is not a tattoo, that is a nothing. I finally got her back in the chair, bairly touched her with a needle, she jumped up screaming, and that was it. PHOEBE: OK, hi. For your information this is exactly what I wanted. This is a tattoo of the earth as seen from a great distance. It's the way my mother sees me from heaven. I googled “tattoo Christ” in order to find some nice gifs. When I found this one, I went to the author’s blog. He had some scripture there. I wanted to make sure it was not taking out on content, so I began a short Study. Check out what I have and lead me to victory if I am at fault in my reading or thinking. Romans 14:13-22. [13] Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. [14] I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean, to him it is unclean. [15] But if thy brother be grieved with thy meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died. [16] Let not then your good be evil spoken of: [17] For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. [18] For he that in these things serveth Christ is acceptable to God, and approved of men. [19] Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. [20] For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence. [21] It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak. [22] Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. So where is the line drawn? What if I say it is wrong to buy on Sunday? Do you have to give up your freedom because I am the weaker Christian? Am I wrong in thinking: I should be sensitive to those whose faith may be harmed by my actions, but I should not forgo liberties in Christ just to satisfy the selfish motives of those who are trying to force opinions as doctrine? What is the difference (biblically) between convictions and doctrine? Blonging in Florida: (praying for myself today) God help me understand your Word as I read it. Let me think about your Words through the day. Remove Satan’s attempts to hide your truth from me.” TMarkD
